For anyone who likes simple, we have written down our terms and conditions in plain language.
Article 1: Definitions
We keep our terms and conditions simple. Customer: Someone who really likes ice cream and buys products/ingredients. Entrepreneur: Someone who also really loves ice cream and supplies products/ingredients.
Article 2: The entrepreneur
Hej hej is a sole proprietorship to which several passionate people contribute. You can reach us on 06-53238123 or at info@hejhej.nl. We do not have a visiting address, but our business address is Jutphaseweg 2-G 3522HA in Utrecht. Our Chamber of Commerce number is 71197524. Our VAT number is NL160923785.B02 We can also be found on Facebook for all the fun news.
Article 3: Applicability
We do our best to bring these general terms and conditions to your attention. It states what we do for you and what we expect from you. If you buy or have bought something from us, of course. Otherwise it's not very appropriate. In general: We don't make things that difficult!
Article 4: The offer
We always tell you honestly what, when and how you can buy something, what it costs and whether you can exchange it. Is there an error on our product page? Then you can hold us to that. Except when the mistake is clearly a blunder and you should have known that in advance, of course.
Article 5: Agreement
You do business with us online in a safe web environment.
If you place an order with us, you will receive a confirmation by email. We include all the information and data you need with your order, but you can also find most of it on our site.
Article 6: Right of withdrawal
You may return a product within 30 days of receipt. However, it must meet the following conditions:
- The product is complete with all accessories,
- The product is in new condition,
- The product is packed in the original packaging.
In the event of a return, you are only liable for the depreciation of the products that is the result of the use of the products that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
If your product meets the conditions for return, you will receive the entire purchase amount back.
If you use the product more than necessary to assess whether you want to keep the product, it no longer meets the conditions and the product has become less valuable. For example, you can look at the ice cream machine from all sides, but you cannot make ice cream in it!
However, it may be that the product has become less valuable after purchase because the product is (slightly) damaged, parts are missing, etc. In these cases we will charge for this depreciation.
Article 7: Obligations during the cooling-off period
During the cooling-off period you may unpack or use the product as you would in the store. If you use the product in such a way that it is no longer in 'store condition', you may receive less money for the product.
Article 8: Shipping costs in case of withdrawal
The shipping costs of a return shipment to hej hej in case of cancellation are borne by the customer. If the return is the result of an error on his part, hej hej will of course bear the shipping costs for the return shipment.
Article 9: Obligations of hej hej upon revocation
As soon as you indicate to us that you wish to return something within 30 days of receiving the item, hej hej will send a confirmation after receiving your request. We will then send you a new product or you will receive your payment back within 7 working days.
Article 10: Exclusion of the right of withdrawal
You cannot return the following items: Basic mixes and/or ready-made ice cream mixes in an opened package.
Article 11: The price
We always communicate our prices clearly and concisely. All prices for consumers include VAT. Prices for business to business are exclusive of VAT. Shipping costs are included, unless otherwise stated.
Article 12: Conformity and warranty
You have the right to a good product, period. If there is something wrong with it, we will solve it for you. We always follow the law.
Article 13: Delivery and execution
We do our best to serve you well and deliver a top product. We try to deliver ordered products as quickly as possible. If the delivery of the product takes longer, or if we cannot deliver everything on time, you will be told as soon as possible. At that time you can cancel your purchase. If you have already paid in advance, you will receive your payment as soon as possible, but no later than within 7 working days. If a product is damaged or lost before it reaches you or a recipient you designate, it is our responsibility.
Article 14: Payment
If we ask you to pay an amount in advance, we will process your order as soon as possible after receipt. Is something incorrect in the payment details? Please let us know as soon as possible.
Article 15: Complaints procedure
Do you have a complaint? Annoying. We will do everything we can to resolve your complaint. Of course we have a nice procedure for that.
- If you have a complaint, please let us know quickly. Describe your problem
- You will receive an answer from us within 2 working days at the latest. We will help you immediately, or you will hear how much time we need to put it right.
Article 16: Disputes
Are we really unable to reach an agreement? You can then decide to submit the case to the authorities set up for this purpose within twelve months. If you choose to do so, we sincerely regret it. But we respect your choice.
Article 17: Industry guarantee
We are not (yet) affiliated with the Dutch Home Shopping Organization.
